Vintage
The harvest took place in the second week of September 2020, under optimal weather conditions. The grapes come from a vineyard in Feiteiras and from another small old vineyard, located at a higher altitude, in front of the Mother House of the Lanço property
Vinification
Gentle pressing of whole grapes in a pneumatic press. After pressing, we decanted it for 24 hours with clean ironing. Controlled fermentation at 15ºC.
Aging
This blend consists of 35% wine aged in French oak barrels with 4 years of use and the remaining 65% in stainless steel tanks, both for 14 months. In December 2021, 1428 units were bottled, all of them numbered. This wine aged for 8 months in the bottle before being placed on the market in September 2022.
Tasting Notes
Greenish citrus color. Very elegant and fresh nose. Citrus notes, slight herbaceous, nuance of toast with subtle wood well integrated, apricot and some volcanic stone. In the mouth it is dry, mineral, highlighting the refreshing acidity. Slightly salty in the aftertaste, very pleasant. Excellent as an aperitif, with seafood, marinated or grilled fish.
