In 1836, during the reign of Dona Maria II, the Companhia das Lezírias was founded. Its boundaries included extensive territories of the Crown, House of the Infantado and the Queen’s House. This wine aims to honor the men and women who throughout history have made Companhia das Lezírias a reference.
Tasting Notes
Fine, elegant, fragrant aroma, where citrus and apple and white plum notes stand out, a floral touch. It reveals a fresh mouth, very elegant and balanced, with some final dryness. Ideal with cod and other fish dishes in the oven. It can also accompany various white meats and soft cheeses
Vinification
Manual harvest, followed by pressing and static clarification. Fermentation in 2nd year new barrels 300 liters of French oak aged on the fine lees for 12 months
