Description of the Vineyards
From the Sobreira vineyard, planted in 2008, next to a small forest of cork oaks and holm oaks. It is located at an average altitude of 280 meters and is rainfed. A white wine with a vibrant aroma, with emphasis on grapefruit and lime, complemented by a subtle note of well-integrated wood. In the mouth, it reveals freshness surrounded by a creamy texture, with good volume, tension and a persistent and saline finish
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand and carefully packed in 25 kg boxes, and were immediately transported to the winery. Upon arrival, they stayed for 24 hours in a temperature-controlled cold chamber. This was followed by a careful selection of the bunches, pneumatic pressing and static decanting. Alcoholic fermentation began in stainless steel tanks, and the must was transferred, soon after starting, to 20 hectolitre Austrian oak foudres. Once fermentation was finished, the wine aged on fine lees in the same foudres for 12 months, promoting a delicate and balanced evolution.
