About this Wine

Tasting Notes

Bright yellow. It reveals a citrus profile, lemon peel and floral notes, with emphasis on orange blossom. Good balance of acidity with a long and persistent finish. Serve at a temperature between 10 and 12°C. Ideal to accompany fish dishes in the oven, rice dishes with broth and game meat stews.

Vinification

Manual harvest, selected for 15 kg boxes. Total destemming and crushing. Static cold decantation, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 14° – 16ºC. Subsequent ageing on fine lees, in stainless steel vats until bottling.

PistaWines is a wine project, located in the heart of Alto Alentejo, in Alter Pedroso, municipality of Alter do Chão and District of Portalegre. It has 5ha of which 4ha are vineyards, planted in 2021.

The house produces elegant wines of authentic Alentejo character, from grape varieties selected from the natural richness of this unique terroir.

The goal is to present in the wines, the best that nature offers. Wines of elegant, sophisticated character, to enjoy alone, with friends and family, with or out of it.

The first harvest took place in 2022, and the white and rosé wines are already available, and the red wine is still aging to be presented to the market around April, according to its evolution until then.
