About this Wine

Vinification

Grapes harvested in 18 kg boxes, gently pressed after a short maceration and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats with stirring of lees.

Tasting Notes

Citrine color. Fruity and elegant aroma with a fresh and smooth mouth and a finish where tropical notes stand out combined with a good acidity.

Pioneers in the cultivation of Chardonnay vines in Portugal. The strains were brought from France. Almeida Garrett has 44 hectares of sustainable production, the vineyards range from the Zêzere River to the slopes of Serra da Estrela.
