A careful selection of 4 main parcels of our most beautiful crus from the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil, Avize, Cramant, Oger), blended with about 20% of the best from our Perpetual Reserve. This Cuvée ages for at least 36 months on yeasts before disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
The wine is crystal clear, the color is golden with nuances of green typical of Chardonnay.
The foam is thin and regular, with a beautiful ribbon of intense bubbles.
In the first aroma, the flowers and fresh flavors stand out and quickly evolve into notes of white peaches and citrus peel. There are also some touches of toasted bread.
This wine reveals its generosity on the palate while remaining very pure and elegant. The first sip is both greedy and tense, dominated by white fruits, lemon confit and tangerine peel. This is followed by sublime notes of grilled hazelnuts. The finish reveals the typical calcareous minerality of Le Mesnil sur Oger, giving the wine a vibrant effect and a long aftertaste of sea salt and iodine.
