Herdade da Mingorra’s rosé harvest is born from a selection of grapes from more recent plots, planted between 2005 and 2016, in some of the areas with the greatest wine-growing aptitude on the property. The grape variety used, Touriga Nacional, is one of the noblest red varieties in Portugal, and has been in Mingorra for a long time, adapted to this soil and climate of southern Alentejo.
Vinification
Light maceration in the press, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 12°C.
Tasting Notes
It shows a bright salmon pink color and fine to elegant aroma, where the variety reveals itself in floral and red fruit suggestions. The body is full, juicy, and the flavor fruity and persistent, punctuated by refreshing citrus notes at the end.
