Coming from a small plot of Tinta Roriz facing north, it is a wine that expresses the perfect adaptation of the grape variety to the privileged terroir of Monte d’Oiro. A red wine with temper, nobility and character.
Vinification
Manual harvest, by individualized parcel. Choice of curls and destemming without crushing. Fermentation with 30% of stems in stainless steel vats with foot treading reproduction and temperature control.
Aging
16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 30% are new.
Tasting Notes
In the aroma you can feel a young red full of life. Some barrels well integrated in the black and red fruit on a very spicy background In the mouth a fierce character in the medium body, very lively and properly polished tannins, a lot of genetics perfect for the table.
