Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand and transported to the winery of the Quinta itself. Fermentation took place with maceration in a granite press for seven days, with foot treading.
Aging
14 months in stainless steel, 9 months in bottle
Tasting Notes
It has a ruby-red color. In the aroma, it reveals high complexity, with emphasis on ripe wild fruits, such as blackberry and ripe plum, combined with a floral touch of violet and bergamot, and nuances of spices, such as nutmeg and cinnamon. In the mouth, it is full-bodied and elegant, unfolding in multiple layers of wild fruits, where notes of ripe cherry and blackcurrant stand out. The fine and silky tannins give structure and harmony to the whole. It is ready to be enjoyed, but has great aging potential.
