Vineyards
The vineyards, with an odd altitude (700 – 750 mts), bring together the characteristic grape varieties of this region and comprise three plots with their own characteristics: Alvandeira vineyards with clay soils; Souto vineyards are transitional granite and schist; and in the vineyards of Lameiras they are of Granite and Quartz. The organic production, its terroir impregnated with history, as well as the setting by the Douro, Côa and Águeda rivers, give a unique profile to the wines from this property
Tasting Notes
A wine full of character, with notes of forest fruits, cedar, spices and moka. In tasting, its acidity combines perfectly with its volume and delicate tannins.
Vinification
Fresh grapes at their ideal point of ripeness, hand-picked into 20 kg boxes, are transported to the winery where they have been subjected to a careful manual selection, destemming and smooth
crushing. Fermentation by grape variety, in stainless steel and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months
