Página Pinot Noir 2024 by Casa Romana Vini is a red wine that expresses the elegance and potential of the Pinot Noir variety in clay-limestone soils at DOC Óbidos (Lisbon). Produced from grapes harvested in two emblematic vineyards — “Vinha Todo-o-Mundo” (planted in 2012) and “Vinha do Bem-Amado” (planted in 2014) — with different solar orientations (N-S and E-O), this wine reflects a balanced maturation and a unique Atlantic terroir.
The grapes are grown in Organic Production, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices that enrich soil life and preserve varietal expression. After a rigorous selection of bunches and berries, the vinification takes place with fermentation in lagares and pre-fermentative cold maceration, preserving the primary aromas and aromatic delicacy. The aging takes place for 9 months in French oak barrels Séguin Moreau, giving depth, structure and complexity without overpowering the fruit.
In the glass, it has an open ruby color with a cherry hue. On the nose, aromas of small red berries, notes of woods, fresh nuances of eucalyptus and elegant toast dominate. On the palate, the acidity is well calibrated, the tannins are lively but fine, and the whole is fresh, harmonious and balanced, with a persistent and gastronomic finish — perfect for white meat dishes, poultry with delicate sauces, mushrooms and mild cheeses.
