Queirolo vineyard in the Ica Valley, the most important wine region in Peru and one of the first wine regions in South America, since the Spaniards brought the first vineyards more than 400 years ago. The Ica Valley is an oasis outside the “Wine Belt” with excellent conditions for producing high-quality wines. Located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level and 60 km from the Pacific Ocean. It has deep sandy loam soils, an average of 300 days of sunshine per year and an average annual rainfall of less than 20 mm. Arid and desert climate with a wide temperature range (20°C difference between night and day). Drip irrigation, hand-picked grapes.
Vinification
Fermented in 500 hl stainless steel tanks with cooling system. It stays 3 months in the bottle to enhance its fruity freshness.
Tasting Notes
Light pale yellow. Expressive aromas reminiscent of citrus, apples and peaches. On the palate, medium-bodied, fresh with a long and tasty finish.
