Herdade do Rocim Fresh from Amphora White is the result of a partnership between Herdade do Rocim and Niepoort, taking an approach to the Nat ́Cool concept and its philosophy of relaxed and easy-drinking wines. Our interpretation uses the ancestral method of making amphora wine, with the amphorae contributing to a light, fresh and very harmonious wine.
Tasting Notes
Golden color. Nose with a creased mineral profile, floral and wet earth notes. Marked acidity, freshness and tension in the proof.
Vinification
The vinification was carried out by the traditional process, in clay amphorae, and without temperature control. The ancestral way of making amphora wine was fully respected. Fermentation with yeasts indigenous to the region and without any addition or correction of musts.
Aging
Two months of skin contact inside the hoist.
