Herdade do Rocim Fresh from Amphora Red is the result of a partnership between Herdade do Rocim and Niepoort, taking an approach to the Nat ́Cool concept and its philosophy of relaxed and easy-to-drink wines. Our interpretation uses the ancestral method of making amphora wine, with the amphorae contributing to a light, fresh and very harmonious wine.
Tasting Notes
Very open ruby colour, nose with earthy character, very fresh vegetable and fruit. Very light and harmonious. Should be served slightly chilled (12-14ºC)
Vinification
The vinification was carried out by the traditional process, in clay amphorae, and without temperature control. The ancestral way of making amphora wine was fully respected. Fermentation with yeasts indigenous to the region and without any addition or correction of musts.
Aging
Two months of skin contact inside the hoist.
