Madeira Barbeito 5 Years Old Malvasia Reserva Sweet

Tasting Notes

Golden color. Notes of toasted almonds, honey and smoked wood. With a slightly caramelized, fresh and polished palate. Excellent as a digestive. It goes well with dessert, cheeses, caramel and passion fruit pudding and candied fruit.

Vinification

Grapes from several quality vineyards in the area of Arco de São Jorge. Grapes pressed in a pneumatic press. Interruption of fermentation by the addition of wine alcohol (96%). Malvasia aged in Canteiro for 5 years in French oak casks. For this blend we selected wines from our warehouses, whose stable temperatures throughout the year gave rise to this wine with balanced levels of sugar and acidity .
