Vinification
This Moscatel Roxo is the result of intense work divided between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was monitored and pampered at all times so that yields did not exceed 2500 liters/ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the ideal sanitary and ripeness state. In the winery, a “proper” vinification was idealized for this product, different from what was usual in other companies in the region. It consists of an intense selection of bunches followed by a pre-fermentative maceration for 5 days, after which the fermentation is allowed to start very slowly homogeneously throughout the vat, reaching 3/4 of the fermentation in 3 days, benefiting this wine with the best wine spirits in this case Armagnac, followed by a post-fermentative maceration of 5 long months.
Aging
The final stage is carried out in a 6000 liter barrel, where it is concentrated.
Tasting Notes
Dark topaz in color. With floral aromas, spices and evolution, in the mouth it is round, very soft and fresh, with a very long aftertaste.
