Tasting Notes
This wine reveals the unique identity of Casa Cadaval and its Terroir. It has a distinct aroma, highlighting the fruity and spicy character, representative of this variety, associated with balsamic and cedar notes. Elegant, fresh, with excellent acidity and silky tannins. It has a long and persistent finish.
Vinification
The grapes harvested by hand come from a bush vineyard that is more than 80 years old. The vinification is triggered by a cold extraction, then fermenting the grapes in Lagares for 2 weeks. Ageing is done in used 500-liter French oak barrels for about 12 months.
