Innovation comes in many forms, and in 2019, Master Blender, Stephanie Macleod, launched a new range of Blended Scotch Whiskies with a four-stage ageing process for maximum smoothness. This may seem like an indulgence, but the series has been winning gold medals around the world since it was released.
At Dewar’s they believe that to do things well and get the best results you must put in double effort. Then they wondered how they could double the effort on the line that was already Double Aged for extra softness… And it was obvious… fold!
The Double Double Series has been aged, blended, re-aged and then finished in sherry casks for maximum smoothness.

Tasting Notes

Dewar’s Double Double 21 Year Old is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, this blend offers subtle notes of cinnamon and ripe vine fruit with a silky smooth finish.
