Your everyday red wine – fragrant, simple, natural, the red wine to enjoy with friends, for a glass of wine full of pleasure. Renosu, which means “sandy” in our language, was born from the idea of the tradition of combining wines from different red grapes for everyday wines.
Tasting Notes
The Renosu Rosso has a ruby colour with a garnet edge. The aromatic bouquet is defined by aromas of blackberry, candied cherry, coffee powder and graphite, along with Mediterranean aromas of myrtle, olive pâté and rosemary, as well as pleasant and perfectly integrated vinary notes. Entry into the palate is round and immediate, promptly invigorated by the striking salty tone and delicate tannin texture, in a progression consistent with olfactory sensations. The Renosu Rosso is a spontaneous interpretation of exceptional typicality, accessible and satisfying at the same time.
Harmonization
Renosu Rosso is best enjoyed with medium-structured dishes flavoured with Mediterranean herbs, as well as medium-ripe cow’s milk cheeses and stewed sausages, lamb and rabbit. This is a versatile red wine that can also be served with seafood dishes such as complex swordfish preparations, baby octopus in tomato sauce, tasty fish soups or with Luciana-style octopus.
