40-year-old vineyard located in Quinta da Manoella with southwest exposure.
Vinification
The harvest took place in perfect weather conditions in the third week of September. The grapes, properly selected and destemmed, were trodden by foot for 12 hours in granite lagares, after which they fermented in vats over 8 days. The ageing took place in used French oak barrels for 16 months.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful purple color, fresh notes of blackberry, raspberry and spices. Round and velvety tannins, excellent concentration and freshness persist in the mouth.
