Tasting Notes
Honey color. Aromas of dried fruits, floral, honey and yellow fruit jam. Palate with a light toast, medium and soft body, with a fresh finish and some spice. Excellent as a digestive, cakes with candied fruit, cottage cheese cakes, chocolate and cheese.
Vinification
Grapes from several quality vineyards in the area of Arco da Calheta and Prazeres. Grapes pressed in a pneumatic press. Interruption of fermentation by the addition of wine alcohol (96%). Boal aged in Canteiro for 5 years in French oak casks. For this blend we selected wines from our warehouses, whose stable temperatures throughout the year gave rise to this wine with balanced levels of sugar and acidity .
