Tasting Notes
With a clear appearance and greenish tones, this Alentejo Viosinho has a fresh and elegant nose. It suggests citrus notes, white-fleshed fruit and a light mineral. In the mouth the fruit reinforces its presence and the lively acidity enhances the character of the variety. The body is enveloping and reminds us of a silky and balanced finish. On a gastronomic level, it is a good complement to grilled fish, cold salads and lightly spiced white meats.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand into 15 kg boxes. In the winery, the bunches were manually selected and destemmed, crushed and pressed. After static decantation, the must fermented in stainless steel vats with a controlled temperature of 15 °C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine went through a period of ageing in stainless steel, where it naturally stabilized until bottling.
